Meet the People Behind Virginia Pages
Virginia Pages was founded by two women who saw a need and decided to do something about it.
Helen Rahill, who returned to Cavan after many years in Dublin, brings decades of experience in systems design, business development, and community-focused innovation. She knows that the best communities aren’t just built — they’re co-created, by people who are informed, included, and empowered. Helen’s strength is in organising — not just data, but opportunities for people to connect, contribute, and be heard.
Michaila O’Reilly, a global communications professional originally from the U.S. and now living in Cavan, shares this vision. With a background in event management, corporate communications, and coaching, Michaila’s purpose has always been people. Her passion lies in helping others grow — personally and professionally — and her insights continue to guide the heart and tone of the Virginia Pages initiative.
Together, Helen and Michaila built Virginia Pages to be a shared space for real conversations, practical action, and community connection — for everyone in and around Virginia.
This isn’t about being in charge. It’s about handing the mic to the people who make this town what it is. The heroes here aren’t the founders — it’s you.
